Peter is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-T) with over 12 years of specialized experience in the NGO sector, focusing on high-level financial management, donor administration, and compliance.
Notable for leading HakiElimu’s transition from International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) to International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS), Peter oversees finance, HR, procurement, and ICT. He holds an MSc in Economics and Finance for Development (University of Bradford) and a B. Com in Finance (University of Dar es Salaam). An active member of the NBAA and the EAFM Community of Practice, he is dedicated to transparency, continuous unlearning, and lifelong learning.
